Drupal technical leadership at Graphic Alliance
In 2019, I helped lead and support Drupal developers alongside my own development work. I shared technical knowledge, helped investigate implementation problems and contributed to delivery across back-end development, migration, testing and documentation.
NDP: performance management and development
At NDP, a London digital agency, I took responsibility for an initiative involving staff appraisals and performance management. It connected development goals with business planning through regular reviews and project time budgets.
My technical responsibilities included Drupal development, support, custom modules, migration and integration.
IFoA: collaboration and systems transition
I have worked with the IFoA team over more than ten years and have appreciated the kindness, support and knowledge of the people around me. Supportive senior and project managers gave me the opportunity to collaborate with them and contribute to OPSR meetings.
OPSR oversees the migration to new systems. I contributed requirements, user stories and technical input, drawing on my experience with existing applications and integrations. These discussions brought together colleagues and suppliers to consider dependencies and the continuity of essential services during change.
Advice followed through into implementation
In 2022, I advised on and set up IFoA SAML SSO connecting one identity provider to five service providers. I continue to maintain and support the SSO functionality across those systems.

How I contribute
I work through technical detail while keeping the business process and the team’s ability to support the solution in view. I value clear requirements, shared knowledge and practical decisions that developers and other stakeholders can understand.
