The client sold seasonal products, including diaries, planners and calendars, and promoted them through newsletters. The requirement was to update product names without changing page URLs, and to display the following year in text and metadata across selected content types.
The module automated these seasonal updates. It uses preprocess hooks and I named it Seasonal Display Page because it can easily accommodate more custom features making it suitable for wider use or can even be contributed on Drupal.org. It can be adapted for changing a banner or logo background twice a year, for example.
